Canto (or Cantos) the Sleeper, and later the Wise, was a great leader of the Celts, who has led them through the Land of the Fog to Albion. He is the most important figure of Celtic history and mythology. According to the legend, he wore a very powerful amulet.
Canto was a highly educated man for his era, having wandered the lands of Helromia and learned much of their culture. He brought the knowledge of many ancient tales, including the works of Homer and Aristotle, among the Celts.
History[]
Back on Earth, Canto watched the world slowly being taken by the Helromier. With a group of his last faithful ones, he was contacted by Animebona, the Entity of Albion, and allowed to travel through a portal to the new land.
Together with two Iskai scholars, he created a secret society known as the Dji Cantos, or Enlightened Ones, to record the ancient knowledge of their travel and the workings of the new world.
